Website, App & Hybrid

Learn how Converia supports event websites, mobile conference programmes, app integrations, hybrid events and external systems.

Converia supports organisers in presenting and running events digitally. This includes conference websites, mobile programme views, integrations with external systems, and features for hybrid and virtual event formats.

Can I Create My Event Website Directly in Converia?

Yes. Converia provides a standardised conference landing page for each event.

This landing page can be used to provide key event information, such as the programme, registration and organisational details.

For custom website designs, Converia can also be integrated with external content management systems. Integration is possible via links or API, for example with:

  • WordPress

  • TYPO3

  • Webflow

  • Framer

This allows organisers to continue using their existing website structure while integrating Converia for registration, programme planning or data integration.

Is There a Conference App?

The Converia conference planner is fully optimised for mobile devices and can be accessed through a browser on any device.

Participants can therefore access the conference programme without a native app, including on:

  • Smartphones

  • Tablets

  • Laptops

  • Desktop computers

Native app providers can be integrated via the Converia API. Some providers also support login sharing.

Note: Whether a native app is appropriate depends on the event concept, the desired app features and the app provider used.

Does Converia Support Hybrid and Virtual Events?

Yes. Converia supports hybrid and virtual events through the Converia Virtual Venue.

The Virtual Venue is specifically designed for multi-day events and centrally connects event data, registration and actual attendance.

Supported features include:

  • Live streams

  • Video on demand

  • Networking

  • Matchmaking

  • Small-group meetings

  • Live Q&A

  • Recording archives

This makes Converia suitable for events where participants need to be involved both on site and online.

How Does the Virtual Venue Differ From Traditional Video Conferencing Tools?

The Converia Virtual Venue is designed for event formats with structured programmes, registration and attendance data.

Unlike generic video conferencing tools, Converia connects:

  • Registration data

  • Programme information

  • Actual attendance

  • Virtual sessions

  • Recordings

  • Networking features

This allows hybrid and virtual event components to be more closely integrated into the overall event process.

Does Converia Offer an API for External Integrations?

Yes. Converia provides a fully documented REST API.

The API allows granular access to all data and can be used for external integrations, such as:

  • Conference calendars on your own website

  • Room signage

  • Digital signage

  • ERP integrations

  • CRM systems

  • Membership database synchronisation

  • Native conference apps

  • External CMS integrations

This allows Converia to be integrated into existing digital event, website and organisational infrastructures.
